Nice that you recognize that we are a multicultural community in Colombia and thus we engage in intercultural interactions in our classrooms as you recall from your experience in students in Pereira. Very important that you mention, that you were open to your students from regions like Choco to teach you. It is a way of re-sourcing their semiotic resources. I also appreciate that you recognize the role of nonverbal communication and that you make your students aware of it as a mode of communication. Finally, as you indicate, the last principle of MP is encompassing because it gives meaning to the previous principles and a direction. Teaching must be transformative and a first kind of transformation of MP is to rethink our view of communication.
